2025 Wrap-up: What’s been happening this year and some of our highlight builds
2025 has been one of the biggest years in CCOR history — a year of steady growth, refined processes, standout builds and, of course, the huge milestone of relocating to Brisbane to set the brand up for its next chapter.
A Massive Milestone to Finish the Year
After years of building our reputation in the Northern Territory, we made the call to relocate Custom Concepts Off Road to Coopers Plains in South West Brisbane, officially settling in through September and October 2025.
It’s been a huge move, but one that now gives us:
- Faster supply access
- Easier interstate logistics
- Stronger links with dealerships and fleet partners
- More capacity to take on larger commercial volumes
Same crew. Same craftsmanship. Bigger capability.
A Year of Standout Builds
Even with a relocation looming, 2025 didn’t slow down in the workshop. If anything, it sharpened our focus. Some clear favourites built the backbone of this year:
• A Big Year for the 2500s
If there was one theme this year, it was 2500s everywhere. We turned out a long line of 2500 builds — from work-ready setups to proper touring rigs. These platforms let us showcase clean design, purpose-built storage and the flexibility of our Deluxe Trays and Chassis Mount Module ranges.
• Jai’s Chev 1500 Rebuild
Fresh off a big year of real-world testing — including a run up the Cape — Jai tore his own chassis-mount module down and rebuilt it from the ground up. The goal? Make the Chev even more capable as an off-grid tourer: cleaner storage flow, better access, smarter electrical and a layout that keeps the beers cold and the family happy trackside. A proper evolution build, and one that is already shaping the direction of customer builds.
• A Deeper Dive Into Wagon Rear Setups
This year also took us deeper into wagon storage systems — designing removable setups, smart drawers, electrical storage upgrades and clean finishes that turn daily drivers into weekend-ready tourers without compromising everyday practicality. It’s a space we’ll continue expanding in 2026.
• Establishing Our Fleet Styles
2025 was the year we locked in our streamlined fleet tray and module styles. Durable, repeatable and built for commercial environments, these designs now form the backbone of our work with councils, civil contractors, mining service providers and dealerships. It sets us up for faster quoting, tighter production flow and long-term partnerships in the new year.
Fleet & Commercial Growth
Alongside our custom one-offs, we continued building traction with commercial clients across:
- Civil
- Mining
- Councils
- Energy
- Dealership networks
The move to Brisbane strengthens this side of the business significantly — giving us better access to large fleets and faster turnaround on materials.
Looking Ahead to 2026
With the new workshop up and running, 2026 is shaping up to be our biggest year yet. You’ll see:
- Expanded production capacity
- New design options across trays and modules
- More fleet work through QLD and interstate
- Faster turnaround windows for both single builds and larger volume orders
If you’re planning a build early in 2026, now’s the time to reach out — bookings are already stacking up.
